Quite the Surprise!

My guarantee form has arrived! I will leave on August 21st!

Its all so real.  This is crazy.

For those of you who don't know, a guarantee form is a document outlining some of the specifics of an exchange.  Also, it makes everything final, hence "guarantee".  It came as a surprise because I wasn't expecting to have it for another few months.

Now, with these documents, I can begin the strenuous process of applying for my visa, as well as making travel arrangements.  My mom is a bit freaked out by the fact that I officially leave in less than 3 months, but I just remind her that it could be a lot sooner.

With the official documents, I also received some information from my district.  Mostly, its just rules and official things, but it also includes some more exciting details.  For example, next year I will have the opportunity to travel to Patagonia, el Norte, and Easter Island!  I am hoping to save enough money to pay for them all.

Next week, I have my second outbound orientation.  I am so excited and can't wait!
